Championship Profile
The Classic K series is for pre-1966 GT and Touring cars running to Appendix K (no sports racers). These cars are built to a specification matching FIA paperwork to ensure fairness and as a way of ensuring the racing between models is a snapshot in time back to the 1960s. Appendix K racing is a region of motorsport that has become increasingly expensive. As the values of these cars have risen so it seems have the entry fees among some clubs; the CSCC has changed this with fairly priced entry fees, partly because you are actually paying for your tracktime, not hospitality.
