For the first time this year REIS Motorsport Insurance Services took pride of place at Europe’s premier rally show Rallyday, which was held at Castle Combe racing circuit on Saturday 19th September and celebrated its 15th anniversary this year.

With rallying a significant market for its motorsport insurance services, the company viewed Rallyday of an excellent way of reaching out and interacting with its core customer base. To get its message across, REIS sponsored the show’s Feature Car Display, a special section of the paddock dedicated to some of the most iconic rally machines of all time. Added to this, the company also sponsored the exclusive pre-event dinner on Friday evening, which welcomed – amongst others – 1981 World Rally Champion Ari Vatanen as its guest of honour.

To further endorse its involvement, REIS made its presence felt at the show with a large promotional stand situated in the centre of the paddock, together with additional corporate branding displayed in other areas around the venue. During the day, a team from REIS were on hand to advise and assist visitors on the wide variety of motorsport insurance products the company has to offer.

“This was the first time we have attended Rallyday and I have to say that we were impressed”, said REIS Head of Motorsport Development Mark Taylor. “As it was the show’s 15th anniversary, we felt it was the right time to get involved and I’m very pleased we did. Whilst many of the spectators may not directly require our services, the competitors, owners of specialist cars, club and event organisers, as well as those in the business of motorsport, most certainly do. Therefore, the event provided us an ideal platform to communicate with them.”

With perfect weather, an impressive line-up of iconic rally cars spanning a 50-year period, a guest list that included some of the sport’s most famous names and, with over 10,000 spectators attending, Rallyday organisers have hailed this year’s show as one of the best ever.
