Track Skills Track Days

Trackskills is a company, based in Northern Ireland, providing drivers both experienced and novice, with the opportunity to drive their own cars on motor racing circuits, gaining confidence and knowledge of their respective vehicles whilst maintaining a high level of safety at an affordable price. The company is managed by two well known competitors – Donal O’Neill and Keith Wray – who have wealth of experience in the motorsport arena with distinguished careers in both 2 and 4 wheel competition.

Our ultimate aim and, indeed, emphasis is to provide all with the opportunity to enjoy their car on a proper motor racing circuit, learn its handling characteristics whilst learning about and improving their own abilities in a controlled environment with maximized track time.

The car driven is immaterial. From supermini to exotic supercar – having fun is achievable in either (and everything in between) when on a motor racing circuit.

We achieve our aim by running each track day to a well tried and trusted format within a set of safety guidelines which are very strictly controlled. Everyone who comes along is, basically, there for fun, so we keep the rules simple and short but enforce them rigidly. The main criteria for being there is the right attitude to your driving, your car and, of course, those other drivers who are on the circuit with you. Age or sex is not a major consideration in those who come to track days – it is attitude. Novices and Seniors, male and female, enjoy the event equally, preferring the relaxed atmosphere, free from pressure and revelling in the friendly attitude of the staff and instructors. No one is pressured into exceeding his or her capabilities.

All tuition is given by ARDS registered instructors and this will be on both a group and individual basis. We find this is particularly useful in getting the most out of the day in helping develop existing skills or simply learning to get around an unfamiliar circuit. These instructors will always be on hand during the day to invest time with you, giving help, advice and encouragement.
