On the day MSD attended, Woo-

dall was there overseeing pro-

ceedings. In fact, he attends every

single one of Opentrack’s track

days, whether it’s an evening event

or a full day. “If you need to talk to

me on the day, you’ll find me right

there at the circuit. I run a limited

number of events each year, so that

I can give each one the care and

attention it deserves,” he says.

Not one to rest on his laurels,

Woodall tells MSD that further im-

provements are on the horizon for

2016, admitting that prices will be

adjusted slightly to reflect the en-

hancements. “This will enable us

to get even better at what we do,”

he explains. “We will take fewer

cars to each day. This, in turn, will

give our customers far more track

time with more space, and will

also keep queuing to get out on

track to the bare minimum.

“We will still be offering free

tuition, free snacks and drinks at

all our events, with free photogra-

phy on full days as well. Garages

on our evening events are offered

free of charge. In 2016 we are sure

that you will find our days offer

superb track access and also great

value for money. We aim to offer

you a clear price, a clear track and

a great time when you’re on an

Opentrack day.”

Having experienced an Open-

track track day first-hand, MSD

can see exactly why so many of

our readers voted the company

the ‘Track Day Organiser of the

Year’ in 2015. If you’re on the look-

out for an open pit lane track day

in 2016, Opentrack is certainly

worth considering.
